During my recent stay at the Kompas, I found a balanced blend of luxury and value, appealing for those exploring the exquisite Danish coastline. The spacious suite boasted a comfortable seating area, a large balcony with city views, and a generous bathroom - a rare combination at this price point. The hotel is well-positioned by the harbour, only a 10-minute stroll from the city centre, which adds to its convenience. The welcoming staff contributed significantly to a positive experience. I particularly appreciated the ease of electronic light controls-an often-overlooked detail that enhances comfort. Families will also enjoy the game room featuring billiards and shuffleboard, while the nearby supermarket simplifies essentials for those traveling with children. Breakfast was a highlight, offered in aesthetically pleasing Weck-pots, though better communication on gluten-free options would improve service. The Kompas delivers commendable value for its luxury offerings, making it a sound choice for discerning travellers.
